About Golestan:

Golestan is the only daily Persian language immersion program of its kind in the U.S. With a progressive approach to education, Golestan is a dynamic, engaging environment for children to be immersed in Iranian language and culture while learning movement, science, math, nature, theater, are, music, cooking, dance, gardening, and yoga. The school serves preschoolers and school-aged children through high school with afterschool, camp, and internship programs.

The Golestan Heritage Language Collaborative (Colab) provides support and expertise to all communities wanting to open similar programs. It also produces teaching materials, shares literature and research on the subjects of bilingualism and child development, and offers pro bono consulting to individuals and schools building language immersion environments for children.
